Job summaryA new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Registered Nurse with ward experience to join our team.St Mary's Hospital sits on an island and our communities are passionate about the care they receive locally and therefore we are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to take up these post.The hospital has one main ward which provides inpatient and outpatient clinics for people on the Isles of Scilly.You need to have a passion for either ward nursing with an interest in minor injury care, good communication skills, and a commitment to providing excellent care as part of the ward team. You must be responsive to change and be flexible in your approach. A sound knowledge of professional issues will be required.An Island Living Allowance of 5% of the salary will be paid to any successful applicant.Main duties of the jobTo deliver, without supervision, effective assessment and treatment of patients utilising evidence based approach.Responsible for the care needs, the management of treatment and evaluation of clinical interventions, reflecting the needs of patients attending this unit.Responsible and accountable for the delivery of patient care in unit.About usWe're an NHS community and mental health provider Trust based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
