Legal Assistant - Litigation Team
Our well-established client is looking to recruit a legal assistant to provide support to their busy litigation team.
You will provide legal and administrative support to our litigation team
Assisting in the management of a mixed caseload of litigation matters including civil litigation, debt recovery, property litigation, personal injury and clinical negligence.
Legal research and note taking
Proof reading letters and documents
Preparing first drafts of letters, litigation forms and documents
Liaising with clients, counsel and the court
Liaising with clients in person, by telephone and correspondence, taking enquiries, making appointments
Managing client files and ensuring they are up-to-date and accurate
Providing general administrative support to the team
Skills And Experience Required.
A minimum of six months of experience as a litigation paralegal
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Highly motivated, proactive individual with strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure
Proactive and able to use initiative to solve problems
Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills and have an excellent telephone manner
Experience of case management systems and digital dictation
A genuine interest in litigation and a desire to develop your skills in this area
