Qualified Mathematics Teacher – Secondary School – Oldham Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester Start Date: September 2025 Hours: Full-Time (Monday to Friday) Contract: Long-term (potential for permanent) Salary: £165 - £225 per day (Dependent on Experience) Are you a passionate and qualified Mathematics Teacher who can inspire students to develop a love for numbers, problem-solving, and analytical thinking? GSL Education Manchester is working with a high-performing secondary school in Oldham to recruit a Qualified Mathematics Teacher for a full-time position starting September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic Maths department with a strong record of academic success and collaborative practice. About the Role: You will teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that build confidence and critical thinking skills. You'll be responsible for lesson planning, assessing progress, and supporting students of all abilities in a positive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4 Design and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons Assess student progress and provide targeted feedback Support numeracy initiatives and enrichment activities Foster an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment ✅ What We’re Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK teaching qualification Experience teaching Mathematics in a UK secondary school Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics Effective classroom and behaviour management skills A reflective and adaptable teaching approach Why This School?
