Job Title: Trainee Medical Administrator 37 hours p/week Location: Old Machar Medical Practice, Aberdeen Reports to: Office Manager Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Medical Administrator to support the administrative functions of our busy medical practice. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain experience in a professional healthcare environment, assisting with clerical duties and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities Assist with general administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and photocopying documents. Handle incoming calls and direct inquiries to appropriate staff members. Maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality. Support reception staff during busy periods, including greeting patients and scheduling appointments. Process incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting and distributing correspondence. Assist in preparing reports, letters, and other documentation. Undertake any additional tasks as required by the management team. Key Requirements Strong organisational and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). High attention to detail and confidentiality.
