Joining our team of Case Officers, you will work together to provide a national service which focusses on Fisheries enforcement. You will have your own case load where you will produce and complete accurate case files that contribute to the achievement of successful prosecutions, formal cautions, warning letters and advice & guidance and produce data that will help areas target enforcement effort and publicise successful prosecutions. The team Enforcement Once is part of the National Environmental Crime Unit and is a centralised team dealing with a range of enforcement activities with the focus on fishing rod licence and associated offences. We deal with a broad range of customers and also provide support nationally for other services which can result in different sanctions such as Fixed Penalty Notices and Civil Sanctions. Experience/skills required We are seeking a focussed Case Officer who will provide a first-class service to our customers. Important skills include: self-motivated team player with strong organisational skills; an eye for detail and accuracy as we produce legal documentation which also requires an ability to work to tight deadlines; proficient in the use of Word/Excel; develop and maintain good relationships with internal and external customers; an ability to learn new systems; enforcement knowledge is preferred but not essential and with excellent written and verbal communication..
