Salary: £30,559 - £32,654 Hours per week: 37 hours Interview date: Wednesday 11 June 2025 Young People’s Service Youth Justice Service – Empowering Young Lives We are seeking a highly organised and adaptable individual to lead our dedicated team of Administrative Support Officers, providing crucial support across two distinct service areas – the Young People Service and the Conferencing and Reviewing Service. Rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted, the Young People Service is closely integrated with the Youth Justice Service and our Stronger Families team who deliver an edge of care offer. This gives staff full access to a range of resources including early support, youth work, mentoring, and health and well-being services. As the Administration Manager, you will oversee the delivery of efficient administrative support across both Services, ensuring accurate record-keeping, effective communication, and the smooth operation provision. This includes overseeing administrative functions for Child Protection Conferences and Children’s Reviews, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and maintaining high standards of accuracy and confidentiality. You will manage a team of Administrative Support Officers, providing guidance, training, and supervision to ensure high-quality service delivery. You will also play a key role in streamlining processes, fostering a collaborative team culture, and supporting the continuous improvement of our administrative functions. We're seeking a dynamic professional with proven administrative management experience. Ideally, you will hold an NVQ 3 or 4 in Business Administration or an equivalent qualification and have extensive operational expertise. Proficiency in data analysis and IT packages, especially Microsoft Office, is essential. You should have strong leadership skills, with experience in team supervision and performance management. Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities are key. Adaptability to the unique needs of both Services and a commitment to high standards of confidentiality and data management are crucial.. Location : BA14 8JN
