The successful candidate will be joining one of our Clinical areas at Hull University Teaching Hospitals. This apprenticeship provides candidates with the same passions as us to kick start their own healthcare careers, completing a 15-month Level 2 apprenticeship which will provide the essential health and caring skills required in the NHS today. The apprenticeship team will provide ongoing support throughout the programme to assist the apprentice to learn and develop within the clinical environment. There may be opportunity to develop further within the organisation as part of the developing workforce. Advert Working alongside other healthcare professionals, successful candidates will be working in busy patient areas gaining an insight into care and how a modern hospital works. Candidates will be fully supported in learning new skills so they can work safely and calmly in our wards and clinics. This will include learning a variety of tasks such as supporting patients with fluid and dietary requirements, helping with menu choices, supporting personal care activities (i.e. washing, dressing, going to the toilet), making beds, keeping our areas clean and tidy, as well as appropriate record keeping and helping other clinical staff in their duties.
