Job summary We are looking to recruit motivated, caring, compassionate individuals for the role of Apprentice Healthcare Support Workers. The Apprenticeship programme offers a full time 18 months fixed term contract which in most cases leads to a permanent position with Calderdale & Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust. Applicants must be aged 18 or over on date of starting and have lived in the UK for 3 years prior to enrolment.Have a genuine interest in caring for people and be able to demonstrate this within the application. You MUST NOT hold a degree, level four qualification or above in a health-related subject. You must not have significant Healthcare Experience You will be required to undertake Healthcare Support Worker Apprenticeship Care Certificate BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Care Candidates must also hold English and Maths GCSE at grades 9 - 1 / A*- G or equivalent and be able to demonstrate thesequalifications at interview by presenting valid certificates. With out formal proof you will not be eligible to commence the apprenticeship. You will benefit from a comprehensive training programme with support in the workplace from the Vocational Trainers which will enhance your knowledge.
