We are looking for reliable and hardworking butchers who have high quality skills and experience of cutting and preparation of poultry and meat using knife and butcher’s machinery. The successful candidates will be expected to do duties such as ordering, arranging, and receiving deliveries and ensuring storage at required temperature. Removing skin, surplus fat, hairs, internal organs, etc. Cutting or sawing carcases into parts and then cutting carcass parts to chops, joints, steaks etc for sale and customers’ orders. Removing bones, gristle, rind, and other waste material. Preparing, packing customers’ orders, ensuring display of meat and poultry is of hight standard. Boning, trimming meat for display and catering orders, and completing tasks as efficiently as possible in order to reduce waste. Ensuring the orders are ready, packed and palletized and are moved into dispatch fridge for deliveries. Maintaining a clean environment at all times. Working as a part of team, supervising and training staff and recruiting new staff. Keeping butchery area and tools clean and tidy as per health and safety regulations..
