Job summary We are excited to go out to advert for a mental health nurse to join our countywide children & young people's eating disorder service. The role will sit primarily within our intensive support team, working with young people and families in their homes to prevent the need for eating disorder related hospital admissions. You would work alongside a team of support workers, eating disorder practitioners, paediatric nurses and therapists to deliver a high quality of care to young people. We are a friendly and welcoming team who support internal and external training as appropriate. The COAST-ED model has been presented at various conferences throughout the country and is a cutting edge new service with excellent outcomes. Delivering psychoeducation in home and hospital settings to young people and their families. Assessing risk in line with MEED guidelines. Conducting mental state examinations.
