Job summary Clinical Fellow in Minimally Invasive Surgery Full time post - 40 hours per week 1 year fixed term Based at Barnet hospital (main base) Main duties of the job We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Fellow in Minimally Invasive Surgery to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates at ST5 level or above who have successfully completed MRCOG Part 3 and have a strong interest in benign gynaecology and minimal access surgery. The fellowship provides the candidate to acquire skills in the comprehensive management of complex benign gynaecological conditions including regular exposure and training in advanced laparoscopic surgery and a structured gynaecological scanning programme further enhancing diagnostic and surgical planning capabilities. About us The fellow will be expected to actively engage in research, with a strong emphasis on publication in peer-reviewed journals and presentation at national and international conferences such as BSGE or similar. Teaching is a mandatory component of the role, and the fellow will contribute to the education with a particular focus on simulation for junior resident doctors.
