Job summary We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our professional team of Clinical Scientists, Technologists, Medical and Support Staff committed to delivering a high quality service in a busy, well-equipped Nuclear Medicine Department. The Nuclear Medicine Department provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging and non-imaging investigations and therapy procedures at Castle Hill Hospital (CHH) in East Yorkshire, Hull Royal Infirmary (HRI), and Diana Princess of Wales Hospital, Grimsby. The service is equipped with five gamma cameras: a state of the art 12 headed GE Starguide, two dual headed GE 870DR, a dual headed GE Infinia Hawkeye), a dual headed Philips Brightview; a gamma sample counter and an onsite radiopharmacies (including a cyclotron facility). Main duties of the job To perform a broad range of clinical, scientific and other duties to support the operation of the Nuclear Medicine Department at Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital (including PET/CT and the Molecular Imaging Research Centre), liaising closely with medical and technical staff. The post holder will be expected to provide scientific and technical support for the daily work of the department and to contribute to the scientific support of the nuclear medicine department at Grimsby and the radioiodine service at another Trust in Yorkshire, including regular travel to these sites.
