Role Description We’re looking for an enthusiastic early-career Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. In this hands-on role, you’ll help support and improve our cloud-native infrastructure, working closely with developers and infrastructure engineers. You'll be involved in monitoring systems, automating deployments, and contributing to service reliability and performance. Responsibilities Extend and enhance observability with new metrics, alerts, and dashboards. Manage infrastructure using SaltStack and other configuration management tools. Support compliance activities and documentation (e.g. PCI, HIPAA, FedRAMP). Automate deployment workflows and assist in seamless release rollouts. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure high availability and performance across all systems. Help refine internal tools and scripts for better efficiency and integration. Qualifications Some experience with Linux systems (coursework, internships, or personal projects acceptable) Basic familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP Comfortable writing shell scripts (bash, sh, etc.) Some exposure to a scripting language (Python, Groovy, Lua, etc.) Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and grow in a fast-paced environment Bonus Points Experience with tools like SaltStack, Ansible, or Terraform Exposure to observability tools (e.g. Sumo Logic, Splunk, ELK) Interest in AI or large language models (LLMs) Job Type: Full-time Pay: £35,000.00-£46,000.00 per year Benefits: Company pension Work from home Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Application question(s): Are you willing to undergo a background check, in accordance with local law/regulations?
