Job summary The Trust covers the whole of the county of Nottinghamshire in the provision of mental health services to children, adults and older people. This is a fixed term, part time post in the City Central LMHT and the post has become available due to the need to replace the previous post holder. The trust covers the whole of the county of Nottinghamshire in the provision of mental health services to children, adults and older people. Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies. Main duties of the job The main focus of the role will include the psychiatric assessment of patients referred to the service related to patients in the psychosis pathway, management of patients within the recovery model, Mental Health Act work (Section 12), day on-call duty rota (this will be based on a pro rata and on average 3 to 4 times a month for emergency work only), CPA reviews, urgent assessments, cover for colleagues when on leave and working within the multidisciplinary team supporting other members of the team. There will be an emphasis on providing leadership and consultancy to the team. This will include support of multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases. The consultant will be assessing patients in clinic and often in the community in their own homes. All the patients on the case load will have CCO's.
