Job Description This role sits within the Delivery Practice as part of the Solution Engineering Group in HM Land Registry’s Transformation and Technology directorate. Its purpose is to work with other practices to ensure successful delivery of a variety of business as usual work packages, projects or workstreams. A Delivery Manager Is Responsible For Leading The Delivery Of Change Within a Project Team Or Through Co-ordination With Various Specialist Teams, As Well As Being Accountable For The Performance Of Those Teams. In This Role They Will: build and maintain teams, ensuring they are motivated, collaborating and working well. help identify and overcome any obstacles to achieving the agreed outcomes. provide guidance to focus the team on what is most important to the delivery of the change. encourage and facilitate continuous improvement towards more effective delivery. coach and mentor people to apply the most appropriate tools and techniques. The complexity or breadth of change or teams will vary in this role, depending on the context. Person specification To be successful in this role, you will hold a degree level or equivalent qualification in Information Technology or a related area or have significant experience in an IT field. You will have proven experience of planning and delivering significant IT changes and knowledge and practical experience of tools and processes that support IT delivery.
