Job summary The Vascular division have a fantastic opportunity for a Deputy General Manager (DGM) to join our friendly, proactive team to strengthen our leadership team. This is a key role within the division, where you will be accountable to the Deputy Director of Operations and be responsible for the delivery of clinical services within and across the Vascular division, for assessing the impact of change and making decisions, balancing risks and priorities, and for providing advice to the Divisional Management Team and on the delivery of a strategic vision, ensuring service changes meet internal and external expectations and standards. Main duties of the job Your role will report into the Deputy Director of Operations, where you will be working closely with the Clinical Director, Clinical Lead's and the Head of Nursing to ensure we are delivering high quality services, providing an excellent experience for our patients and meeting our regulatory and operational performance targets. You will be supported by our strong senior leadership teams as you seek, share and drive opportunities to deliver the highest standards of clinical care whilst ensuring delivery of operational, financial and transformational agenda. Within the division you will have accountability and responsibility for the surgical service and work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure safe and effective service delivery, using your ability to engage and lead teams through change and act as an expert negotiator will be vital. You will use your strong business management skills coupled with sound financial knowledge to deliver a selection of productivity schemes across the division.
