The Respiratory Support and sleep centre (RSSC) is a regional weaning unit and provider of domiciliary ventilation and cough augmentation including neuromuscular disorders. The delivery of PR service is also provided by this team and has referrals from many different specialties. Currently the PR service is delivered virtually and face to face simultaneously. The post holder will be supported by a Band 7 Physio Team Lead and a Band 8 Physio Service Lead and you will work in conjunction with a rotational Band 5 Physio and a Band 4 Physio assistant practitioner. Candidates should: Have a BSc, MSc or Grad Dip in Physiotherapy, be HCPC registered Be able to provide a comprehensive Physio service to patients with a wide range of respiratory and neuromuscular conditions Have experience in and be able to build on existing Physio skills in cough augmentation, ventilator weaning and Pulmonary Rehab required to manage our patient groups.
