We are looking for a qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) to work as part of a multidisciplinary team in an evolving service, based in schools, working alongside teaching staff to support the early identification of mental health and promote wellbeing for staff and young people. Delivering evidence-based , early intervention for children and young people in education settings with mild to moderate mental health problems, working with a range of professionals to direct best practice, in a holistic, and child centred way. Helping children and young people within these setting to deliver early intervention to prevent onset of more complex mental health needs Supporting and facilitating staff in education settings to identify mental health and wellbeing needs, promoting a Whole School Approach and embedding a positive ethos and attitude to mental health and wellbeing. The Mental Health Support Team (MHST) is a new service available in certain Nottinghamshire schools . You must be a qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner or and have obtained the relevant EMHP / CWP Post Graduate Diploma qualification following the completion of a CYP IAPT approved training in Evidence-Based Psychological Treatment for Children and Young People (C&Y IAPT) and be accredited and registered with BABCP or BPS A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment.
