The purpose of the post is to assist the Account Manager in the delivery of a quality cleaning and site management service to a diverse range of clients in the Ashfield area. These clients include Schools/Academies, Fire Stations, Depots, Libraries, and other Nottinghamshire County Council associated sites and offices. Principal tasks required of the post will be assisting in the management of approximately 150 frontline employees and ensuring that the 50 plus individual customers in the Ashfield area receive an effective Building Cleaning and Caretaking service. The working hours for the post will 37 hours per week, mostly be on a split shift basis between the hours of 6.00am and 6.30pm. The exact times of work may vary within these times. The post of facilities officer requires travelling around the Ashfield area to several different location each day, which will require access to your own transport for work (the use of a works vehicle may be an option). We Are Looking For An Individual Who Has experience of undertaking Building Cleaning/Caretaking roles. Has some experience in supervising within a facilities service contract management environment, ideally within Building Cleaning /Caretaking. Has some flexibility in their working hours in the day. Good customer care and client management skills in a sales and trading service environment. Is organised and methodical in their approach to solving problems. The Main Duties Of The Post Will Include Assisting the Account Manager to recruit and maintain staffing levels The mobilisation of mobile and cover staff operating within the Ashfield area. Undertaking regular site inspections to ensure cleaning standards are maintained and required contract standards maintained. To assist in the development, monitoring and management of staff performance, conduct & absence. Ensure all site documentation is up to date and displayed correctly on site. Meeting and advising customers at a variety of sites across the area to ensure effective quality service is delivered. Covering for staff absence in a Cleaning and Caretaking/site manager posts when the service requires.
