LiveWest is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Officer to join our Development Finance team. This is your opportunity to play a vital role in supporting the delivery of affordable and open market homes across the South West. Key Responsibilities: - Financial Processing: Handle month-end journals, rent calculations, and reconciliations for shared ownership and open market sales. - System Reconciliation: Act as the vital link between development and housing systems, reconciling unit handovers and ensuring timely updates. - Reporting & BI Transition: Support the transition to business intelligence-driven reporting, enhancing data accessibility and decision-making. - Customer Service & Collaboration: Deliver excellent service to internal and external stakeholders, contributing to continuous improvement and team success. This role is being offered on a full time, permanent basis offering hybrid working, with 2–3 days per week in the Exeter office depending on business need. About The Candidate To be a successful Finance Officer – Development Finance, you will have the skills, knowledge and experience required for a Level 1 - Team Member role, along with the below role specific requirements: - Competent MS Office user – particularly MS Excel. - Strong administration skills and good level of knowledge of accounting and financial administration. - Good data analysis and input skills. - Good attention to detail, able to work accurately, with good numerical skills. - Ability to contribute to a team environment. - Ability to plan own workload; manage competing priorities whilst maintaining a high quality of work. - Good communication skills to liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, ensuring consistency of approach across LiveWest. - Good level of literacy and numeracy. - Commitment to continuous professional development.
