Job summary Barchester's finance team have a new opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join their established team. This key role will be responsible for the co-ordination, control, and production of financial information for part of the group's financial accounting function. With a rapidly expanding portfolio of care homes and hospitals across the UK, this role is crucial to supporting the continued commercial success of more than 260 care homes across the country. Main duties of the job The Financial Accountant will be responsible for external statutory reporting and compliance including the preparation of statutory accounts for the whole group, monthly management reporting, liaising with external auditors, accounting for loans/leases and ensuring compliance with lenders and landlords, cash management with responsibility for the reporting on and monitoring of group cash, and group & Co VAT Returns.
