In the newly created role of Head of People & Culture, you'll be a big part of leading your team to make a real difference by making sure our people strategy fits with what the business is trying to achieve. You'll empower your team to be the ones leaders rely on for all things people. Plus, you'll get to drive your team to find ways to work smarter, build great team connections, and help everyone feel motivated and do great work. We’re growing quickly, so we need someone who’s energised by pace, happy to roll up their sleeves, and ready to make a difference from day one. Key Responsibilities Lead & Inspire: Shape and deliver the People team’s strategy so it aligns with our company goals and reflects our culture. Lead and support our HR Business Partners, ER Advisors and HR Admin team, ensuring they collaborate well and deliver first-class support to the business. Work closely with the People Director on key projects across talent, org design, wellbeing and engagement. Champion Our Culture: Bring our culture to life across everything we do, embedding it into our people practices and day to day experiences. Develop and roll out initiatives to boost engagement, happiness and retention. Partner with leaders across the business to build an inclusive, values-led environment. Use employee feedback to identify opportunities and make meaningful cultural improvements. Drive Fairness & Compliance: Be the expert voice on all things employee relations, ensuring fairness, consistency, and compliance with UK employment law. Develop and guide our ER Advisors through complex cases and proactively manage risks. Keep Us Running Smoothly: Oversee our HR Admin team, ensuring everything is accurate, efficient, and employee-focused. Continuously improve our processes to deliver a seamless people experience. Own the integrity of our employee data and HR systems. Support Growth & Development: Collaborate with our Talent and L&D teams to ensure a smooth journey from hire to grow. Help roll out talent and development initiatives across the business, championing a culture of learning within your team. Use Data to Drive Decisions: Leverage people data to identify trends, inform decisions, and track the impact of our people programs. Provide regular reporting and insights to the People Director on performance and progress. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Solid experience in a mid/ senior-level People leadership role (Head of HR, Senior HR Manager, or similar). Strong foundational knowledge of HR best practices and UK employment law, you’re confident, compliant, and commercially savvy. A strategic mindset, you understand how people strategies connect to business outcomes. A problem-solver with sound judgement and the ability to think big while managing the details. Proven track record of coaching, developing, and empowering teams to deliver great results. Experienced in using HR data and insights to drive change. Proven success in building a strong culture and boosting engagement. Super organised, you can juggle multiple priorities with ease. A natural communicator who builds relationships and influence at all levels. CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent).
