This is an exciting role, the successful applicant will be taught vital skills across a range of paediatric areas regarding caring for children of all ages in an acute setting with various needs. You will work alongside the multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of high standards of care to children and young people who present with medical and complex needs. Main duties of the job In this role you will support and training will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for specified children and young people in a dynamic Paediatric ward according to their individual needs. You will work with the team flexibly across the children's unit to create a caring and safe environment for children, young people and their families. You will learn how to assess and recognise clinical deterioration in patients and report to the nurse/doctor in charge of their care by means of monitoring and recording the patient's condition.
