Job summary We are looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join our team providing general practice services including; Phlebotomy, ECGs, wound care/simple dressings, Administering Injections such as Flu, Pneumonia and shingles, long term condition reviews, such as diabetes, asthma, NHS Health checks, INR clinics, Learning disabilities, smoking cessation and more. Main duties of the job All aspects of Healthcare assistant care, with potential to develop skills in line with the needs of the business and your personal interests We are looking to upskill our team with appropriate skills in Chronic Disease management Prepare and maintain environments and equipment before, during and after patient care interventions Monitors and orders stock levels and equipment Act as chaperone as required/instructed Maintenance of accurate and legible patient records in line with organisational requirements this includes contemporary paper records and electronic patient record system About us LAKESIDE HEALTHCARE is changing the face of primary care provision in England. The post holder will undertake delegated tasks and duties under indirect supervision of members of the nurse team. The post holder will work within clear parameters and lines of accountability after appropriate training and assessment of competence.
