Generalist Fixed term contract, Bristol, Salary 45k Hybrid – 3 days in the office My client is a growing and progressive organisation based in Bristol. It is a true generalist role and will encompass a wide range of HR-related duties, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, policy implementation, and compliance with employment laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a strong understanding of HR best practices. This is a fixed term position which has high potential to become permanent, if you are a strong communicator with extensive range of HR skills, in particular ER, D&I and L&D then you would love this role. You will need to be organised, curious and self managing. You will report to the BEST HR Director – who is not a micro manager, your role will be to handle and prioritize your work load on a day to day basis. I would encourage applicants with the relevant skills and mindset to get in touch with me directly on 07951831705Key Responsibilities:Administer and coordinate HR policies, procedures, and programs Handle day-to-day employee relations matters, providing support and resolving issues Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding Conduct new hire orientation and ensure smooth integration into the company Maintain employee records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements Support performance management processes, including goal-setting and evaluations Manage leaves of absence, benefits enrollment, and other employee programs Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and internal events Contribute to the development and implementation of HR projects and initiatives Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field2+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar HR role Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, BambooHR).
