IT Technical Lead Infrastructure Specialist Pattern of work: Full Time Salary: Circa £37,837 - £40,854 Excellent local government pension and life insurance scheme Candidates applying will be shortlisted and receive a phone call from 24th April, with interviews from 28th April to 2nd May Learning Partners are seeking to appoint an IT Technical Lead responsible to assist in the support, management and maintenance of IT systems and resources across the schools within our trust, as well as being a senior figure in the team. This role is based at Kings College Guildford, but you will need to be flexible, helping and supporting the IT Technicians within our 12 schools in Guildford and Woking, with the ability to work at home part-time depending on projects once established in the new role. We have network staff across our Multi Academy Trust (Learning Partners) with group communications and regular meetings. The successful candidate will be directly supported by other senior members of the team, which creates a community where we help each other resolve issues and work towards joint goals. The role will have specific responsibilities: Be responsible for Trust wide infrastructure solutions, ensuring they are effective and performing as required. Lead on moving all our schools to a single Microsoft Office 365 Tennant, working with a 3rd party company. Create, review and implement school IT Development Plans for our schools. Manage Infrastructure solutions and project manage new IT projects being implemented. To plan and prioritise own workload, responding to changing Trust wide priorities and demands. Line-management responsibilities of Learning Partners IT Field Engineers and provide coaching and training where required. Resolve complex IT helpdesk tickets and assist staff and students in person with IT related queries. Diagnose, repair and maintain hardware and software components to ensure the smooth running of school computer systems. Manage Servers and monitor systems for issues. The person appointed may not necessarily be familiar with all the areas listed above, but a willingness to learn and be proactive is essential.
