The School of Construction and Engineering are looking for a teacher to start at the end of August 2025 who can use their industry knowledge to help our budding Aeronautical Engineers to excel. We are keen to hear from candidates who are interested in this role either on a full time or part time basis. We are looking to recruit an innovative and creative individual with excellent industry experience in Aeronautical electronic and Mechanical Engineering and knowledge, to ensure our students are prepared for the world of work and qualified to industry requirements in Aeronautical Engineering. Knowledge of Aircraft Engineering, CAD and BTEC qualifications would also be advantageous. As well as the relevant experience, we are looking for someone with an enthusiasm for helping people of all abilities to achieve their potential. You will need to be proactive, professional and above all be able to support students to develop in their vocation and wider employability skills, such as English and Maths. The right individuals need to be flexible in their approach and willing to maintain an up-to-date understanding of developments within the Aeronautical engineering industry, including legislation. The successful candidate will be required to develop and deliver qualifications to students in both theory and practical BTEC applications and will be teaching on full-time Level 2 and 3 courses.
