Job summary A fantastic opportunity has arisen at Buckinghamshire Healthcare for a Fixed Term Fixed Term Contract as an LED Core Trainee Doctor in General Surgery available for 12 months from September 2025.This post is to support the General Surgery Department in delivering the best clinical care for our patients at a CT equivalent level. This post includes providing on-call provisions. Candidates must have a full GMC registration with 'Licence to Practice in the UK'. Main duties of the job The successful candidate will be part of the General Surgery Service Delivery Unit, which adopts a firm-based approach. There is a good deal of flexibility and excellent working relationships between firms. Duties include the care of elective inpatients at Wycombe Hospital. Wycombe Hospital is a busy district General Hospital catering for all elective surgery and same day case surgery, including paediatric and complex major surgery. The duties whilst at Wycombe Hospital include operating sessions and some outpatient work will be required at both Wycombe and Amersham Hospital.
