September 1st 2025 - January 5th 2026. There are on call duties aligned to this post. We are open to candidates who may need a delayed start date or trainees interested in an acting up position, so Doctors on the specialist register for SPC or ST trainees eligible to act up are welcome to apply. The aims of the post are to provide an efficient and responsive clinical service to the community patients requiring supportive and palliative care; the post holder will join a team of 3 community consultants ( 2 medical, 1 nursing) to develop relationships and improve the care of patients and provide cross clinical cover within other areas of the specialist palliative care service (including the UCLH hospital palliative care team). This is a part time fixed term consultant role of 6.5 PAs. All DCC are within the community setting.
