Job summary We have an exiting opportunity for a Locum Consultant Neurologist (up to 2 years). Worcester Acute Hospitals NHS Trust is looking for a Consultant Neurologist to join our team of 9 consultants. This is an exiting time to join our growing department. For example our team lead on Epilepsy, MS, Parkinsons, Headache & Migraine, Stroke to name a few. For an informal discussion please contract Dr Tom Heafield (01905 733730) Main duties of the job As a Locum Consultant Neurologist, you will: Deliver high-quality general neurology services across Worcestershire Develop and lead a subspecialty service in your area of expertise Provide outpatient care across multiple hospital sites including Alexandra Hospital, Redditch and Kidderminster Hospital Take part in inpatient neurology care at Worcester Royal Hospital, including ward referrals Work closely with a diverse MDT to deliver seamless patient care Engage in teaching and research Participate in the duty neurologist rota, including a 1 in 8 weekend rota.
