This role demands leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: ✔️ Oversee the overall store operations during your shift, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies. ✔️ Supervise and enforce compliance in the sale of age-restricted products (e.g., alcohol, cigarettes). ✔️ Handle customer complaints and queries professionally and promptly. ✔️ Manage the daily cash flow, ensuring accuracy and completion of end-of-day sales reports. ✔️ Bank store takings the next working day and ensure secure handling of funds. ✔️ Submit weekly performance and sales reports to the business owners, identifying trends and areas for improvement. ✔️ Plan and implement creative promotional offers to increase sales and footfall. ✔️ Manage and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers (e.g., frozen food, bread, milk). ✔️ Provide leadership and training to team members to ensure excellent service and store standards. Requirements: Previous experience in a retail supervisor or management role is essential. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organisational skills. High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy. Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude. Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings as required..
