Parks Operations Officer – Permanent Department Salary Grade 6 i.e. £32,654 - £35,235 per annum Full Time/Part Time, 37 hours per week We're seeking a motivated professional to support the Parks & Open Spaces Manager in delivering high-quality, safe, and efficient services across all our green spaces. You'll manage projects in line with Council procedures, supervise contractors, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and help maintain our parks, buildings, and equipment to the highest levels. In this varied role, you’ll provide technical advice, handle public queries, manage procurement processes, and help adopt new public open spaces from developers. You’ll also assist with workforce development, including training, holiday authorisations, and performance management—playing a key part in shaping the future of our valued public spaces.
