Person Specification Qualifications Essential Registered Nurse (Child branch) Current NMC registration Educated to degree level Post graduate study in relevant area Community qualification or extensive experience Desirable Teaching in the workplace qualification Palliative care qualification Qualification in History Taking and Assessment Qualification in Non-Medical Prescribing Skills Essential Excellent verbal, written and IT communication skills. Ability to prioritise and cope with competing pressures. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Up to date knowledge and ability with regard to intravenous therapy and management of syringe drivers. Evidence of innovative and evidence-based practice. Desirable Advanced communication skills training. Other Essential Current, full driving licence. The post holder must be able to drive in order to discharge the duties of the role. Good attendance record. Not on ISA Barred list from working with children/adult Desirable Able to use own car for work purposes.
