Main duties of the job o Attend regular consultant-led Post-Take Ward Rounds and Medicine for the Elderly ward roundso Provide an extended hours clinical pharmacy service to the AMU and AAU wards which includes working early and late shifts as well as regular weekendso Be a key member of the multidisciplinary teamo Provide education and training to the multidisciplinary teamo Give advice at the point of prescribing thereby ensuring adherence to Trust policies and promoting antimicrobial stewardshipo Supervise and train junior pharmacists, trainee pharmacists, Medicines Management Pharmacy Technicians (MMPTs) and Assisstant Technical Officers (ATO's)o Further develop your clinical and management skillso To lead on medicine management initiatives for Emergency, Acute and Elderly Medicine patientso To prepare expenditure reports for Emergency, Acute or Elderly Medicine directorates and attend directorate meetings if required.
