Location : London, On-site Language Preference : Fluency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is essential due to regular communication with Chinese-speaking merchants and partners. Core Responsibilities Product Selection & Matching Follow established SOPs to source high-potential products for TikTok creators (short video and live-streaming teams), ensuring a strong match between creator profiles and product features. Independently plan and curate product lists to ensure diversity and a high hit rate for trending products. Data Analysis & Forecasting Download, clean, and analyse weekly sales performance data (e.g. sales volume, conversion rates, ROI) to measure the effectiveness of product selections. Leverage a data-driven product selection strategy to systematically identify high-potential items, proactively support category growth, and avoid over-reliance on saturated bestsellers. Merchant Collaboration Reach out to TikTok merchants and negotiate partnership terms, including pricing, inventory availability, and commission rates. Select highly compatible products and coordinate supply chain readiness with creator requirements. Many merchant communications will be conducted in Mandarin. Advertising Support Assist in organizing TikTok Ads performance data to inform and refine product selection and advertising alignment. Team Collaboration Efficient Workflow : Regularly sync product lists with the internal operations team and share data insights to ensure transparency and strategic alignment. Proactive Proposals : Based on data and market trends, provide product recommendations to help prioritize and promote high-potential items. Data-Driven Decisions : Use measurable metrics (e.g. conversion rates, growth trends) to influence internal priorities and maximize GMV performance. Work Rhythm Flexibility to attend meetings across time zones (e.g. with Southeast Asian or Chinese merchants), and ability to handle urgent product selection tasks as needed. Team Culture Flat management structure, data-driven decision-making, and a culture that encourages innovation and learning from failure. Bonus Qualifications Power user of TikTok: Familiar with trending topics, viral product patterns, and user behavior. Industry network: Existing connections with cross-border merchants or creators. Category expertise: Deep familiarity with one or more categories such as beauty, home goods, or FMCG. Advertising experience: Knowledge of TikTok Ads logic or ROI analysis. Soft Skills Results-Oriented : Strong focus on GMV and ability to handle high-pressure, fast-paced environments. Communication : Excellent at coordinating between merchants and internal teams (e.g. livestream operations, content managers). Detail-Oriented & Patient : Comfortable with repetitive data analysis and sensitive to long-tail performance trends.
