Your role and responsibilities: As our Property Manager, you will proactively lead the property workstream and manage the entire property portfolio for the Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS), serving as the single point of contact for all property-related matters. Your key responsibilities include: - Develop and implement annual preventive and reactive maintenance programmes to ensure delivery of Fire and Rescue Service objectives - Building effective working relationships with stakeholders including station personnel, contractors, partners and tenants - Managing contracts (including PFI contracts) and overseeing property-related payments including rates and utility bills. - Managing and forecasting revenue and capital budgets, determining resource requirements and allocating resources effectively - Working with relevant departments in the council for specialist areas such as Decarbonisation, legal disputes, or insurance claims. - Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Regulations.
