Job summary NHS Talking Therapies Hampshire (NHSTTH) is an exciting, transformative and expanding psychological therapies service. We are looking to recruit highly motivated, enthusiastic and passionate High Intensity Psychological Therapists on a fixed-term 12-month contract. The postholders will join our Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) team providing in-person CBT to patients aged 16+ who present with a range of complex anxiety and depression related problems for which CBT is demonstrated to be clinically effective. The post holder will work with people of different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunities. If you have any further questions, please contact Vicky Hammond (Clinical Lead & Service Manager): Vicky.hammond@southernhealth.nhs.uk Main duties of the job Accept referrals via agreed protocols within the service Assess patient suitability for psychological interventions via the phone, video and in-person Offer High Intensity treatment in individual and group format Make decisions on suitability of new referrals, adhering to NHS Talking Therapies Hampshire referral protocols, and refer unsuitable patients on to the relevant service or back to the referral agent as necessary and set out in the SOP. Conduct risk assessments, prepare risk management plans and initiate appropriate action where indicated (including referrals to relevant secondary care services and child and adult safeguarding services) Ensure that people under your care are cared for appropriately under the stepped care framework as currently in use within the service.
