Job summary Do you have experience in General Surgery and ready for a new challenge in enhancing your clinical skills further? The ward is an acute female surgical ward, and we look after patients pre and post operatively following breast, urology and bowel surgery. We also specialise in caring for patients with acute pancreatitis and other minor surgery . Main duties of the job Is responsible and accountable for the delivery of high quality, effective, and compassionate nursing care, including assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating of holistic and individualised care. This will be in line with local, Trust wide and national policies, procedures, values and behaviours.Responsible and accountable for the delivery of high quality, effective and compassionate nursing care. Assessing, planning ,implementing and evaluating of holistic, and individual nursing care in line with local trust wide and national policies, values and beliefs. Manage own workload of patients.Working alongside the multi disciplinary team.Surgical experience is desirable but not essential.
