Job summary We are looking to recruit a motivated, hardworking Nursing Associate to join the Paediatric Assessment Unit; the successful applicant should have excellent communication skills. We expect you to perform with passion and drive, provide excellent care, and be supportive to patients, relatives, and other MDT members. You will be expected to promote an excellent standard of patient centered care in a supported environment. You must be prepared to work well within a team and have good interpersonal skills. We are seeking people that can demonstrate the trust values. Successful candidates must possess good IT skills. The successful applicant will be able to develop their existing knowledge and skills in supporting children, young people and families with managing diabetes. The post will involve home visits and school visits so ability to travel is essential. You must be currently registered with the NMC as a nurse associate Main duties of the job The nursing associate has a breadth of knowledge across the lifespan and across the fields of nursing, providing holistic and person-centered care supporting patients of all ages and in a variety of settings. The nursing associate works independently under the leadership of registered nurses, working within the scope of nursing care and within all aspects of the nursing process. Nursing associates are equipped with knowledge relevant to employment as a nursing associate and will work to a nationally recognised code of conduct.
