As a Restaurant Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a restaurant, including managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, handling finances, and maintaining inventory. You also ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a positive restaurant culture. Key Responsibilities: As a restaurant manager, you'll need to: Staff Management: • Hiring, training, and supervising staff for the restaurant as well as creating staff schedules and managing payroll. • Addressing employee issues and resolving conflicts. Customer Service: • Ensuring customer satisfaction and building strong customer relationships. • Handling customer complaints promptly and resolving issues. • Providing excellent customer service and training staff to do the same. Financial Management: • Managing budgets, monitoring costs, and controlling expenses. • Analysing sales data and preparing financial reports and overseeing inventory levels and ordering supplies. Operational Management: • Overseeing daily restaurant operations and ensuring smooth flow of the restaurant with menu planning with the coordination with chefs. • Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene, and health and safety regulations. • Managing inventory and ordering supplies by optimizing restaurant operations and identifying ways to improve efficiency. Leadership and Team Building: • Leading and supervising the restaurant team by creating a positive work environment with staff motivation. • Conducting staff meetings regularly and providing training to staff as per need and soliciting feedback from customers and staff. Additional Responsibilities: • Organizing marketing activities and promotional events and promoting the restaurant and attracting customers. • Working on plans for large events like weddings or birthdays and managing reservations and handling special requests. • Ensuring food quality and safety standards by maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the restaurant.
