About The Role Contract Type: Permanent Working Hours: Full Time Number of positions: 1 DBS Check Required: Yes Qualifications Required: Qualified Teacher Status Newly Qualified Teachers: Accepted Salary: Main Scale £31,650 to £43,607 per annum We are looking for candidates, either ECTs or experienced teachers to teach in our Social, Emotional and Mental Health provision which caters for pupils across KS1 and KS2. All candidates should show an interest in engaging with professional development. About the Candidate Candidates should have experience of working within Key stage 1 or 2. Candidates should have experience of engaging with parents, colleagues and other professionals to support the development of all pupils. They should be able to manage a number of support staff and liaise regularly with the SENDCO. Candidates should have experience of working with pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, understand the expectations of the SEND Code of practice and be able to use multi agency working to ensure the requirements of a pupil's EHCP are met. As well as being able to work effectively as part of a team, they need to be creative, show initiative and be able to adapt teaching to enable all pupils to engage with the curriculum at their developmental level. Prior experience of working in resourced provisions or special schools would be preferable. About Us We are seeking to employ a teacher of SEND to work in our Social, Emotional and Mental Health Provision. We are a two form entry school and have two resourced provisions attached. We are a UNICEF Rights Respecting school and work alongside external providers, including Manchester City Football Club and other local providers to provide a curriculum that meets the needs of our pupils.
