About the job. National Highways have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join our team in Digital Services. As a Senior Business Analyst in Digital Services, you will support and advise the business, programmes, and projects throughout the business change lifecycle, ensuring that change initiatives are aligned with the business objectives, strategy, and enterprise architecture. You will leverage comprehensive business knowledge and experience to assess and advise on the feasibility of proposed options for business and technical change. You will also advise senior stakeholders on the relevance of business change priorities within the context of the wider organisational strategy and objectives. In addition to this you will also be responsible for supporting and managing junior members of the team and allocated third party suppliers. Please note this is a hybrid position and can be based from any of our UK offices however, travel to Birmingham to attend team meetings will be required. Proficient in using information and data modelling tools (manual or automated) to record the structure, relationships and use of information and data within an organisation, such as: class diagram and relational data model. Strong analytical and numerical skills to be able to process and explain large data sets, use tools (manual or automated) to record the structure, relationships and use of information within an organisation. Proficient in the understanding and application of different development approaches, these include iterative/ incremental methodologies (Agile, SCRUM) and sequential methodologies (Waterfall or V-Model) with understanding of DevOps as an approach, where development and operational staff work collaboratively.
