A Vacancy at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking to recruit a Regional Fellow in Anaesthesia & Intensive Care Medicine. The post is for 12 months with duties at the Royal Derby Hospital. This is a service post, and the appointee will be expected to cover accompanied and un-accompanied daytime elective lists in line with their training level. The post includes supervised and solo work in a range of settings where regional anaesthesia takes place, including in elective and emergency Hands, Orthopaedic and general theatres. In addition, sessions will be allocated across other specialties invariably requiring other regional anaesthesia or invasive techniques. Solo lists may also be allocated. The appointee will be expected to work as part of a team with a responsibility to maintain the highest standards of anaesthetic clinical care. Active participation in internal supporting professional activities such as Departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance & Audit is essential.
