Job summary This post is for a Senior Clinical Fellow - ST4(+) level - in Simulation and Emergency Medicine at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The Emergency Medicine Services at Preston and Chorley are unified under a single Directorate. The successful candidate will be expected to work on both sites. This post is fixed term for 12 months. The post will be split 60:40 between clinical duties and simulation activity. This is a full-time post, however applications from candidates seeking a part time post will be considered. Main duties of the job During dedicated simulation time you will develop and expand the current in-situ simulation programme in the Emergency Department; be involved in the delivery of the newly designed trust wide multi disciplinary trauma training simulations; become core faculty on regional Emergency Medicine Simulation Courses and be coached to develop as a debriefer and simulationist. The successful applicant will work across both of our hospital sites, and so will gain experience in working in a Major Trauma Centre and tertiary centre for many hospital specialties as well a District General Hospital and will be exposed to a whole variety of Emergency Medicine presentations.
