Job Description Contract Instrument & Control Project Engineer (Site-Based) Location: Central Belt, Scotland Type: 12-month contract IR35 Status: Expected to be Outside IR35 Hours: 40 hours per week About the Role: Engenda Group is looking for an experienced Instrument & Control Project Engineer to join us on a long-term site-based contract in Central Scotland. You'll be working on a key client site, supporting the delivery of instrumentation and control projects from design through to commissioning. The role requires a hands-on, organised engineer who's confident working independently while coordinating with wider project teams. What You'll Be Doing: Delivering instrumentation and control engineering on site. Reviewing and producing specifications, drawings, and documentation. Supporting installation, commissioning, and handover activities. Ensuring compliance with industry standards and site safety procedures. Working closely with project teams, vendors, and site stakeholders. What We're Looking For: A background in instrumentation and control within the energy, chemical or process sectors. Previous experience in a similar site-based engineering role. Good working knowledge of UK standards (IEC, BS EN etc.). HNC/Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.
