Progression will be supported though a clear competency framework and achievement of relevant qualifications, with the expectation of development over time based on individual progress and readiness.Criteria for progression from B4 to B5 will be: Completion of ACT qualification Completion of all operational Technician competencies Completion of TSET theory training Attendance at Aseptic Dispensing of Medicines Course (or appropriate alternative course) The purpose of this job is to provide technical support within the Technical Services department of the Pharmacy, assisting with supervision of the work of Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Assistant Technical Officers. The post holder will undertake duties involved in the provision of the clinical trials service within the pharmacy department, operating within procedures and current legislation governing the management of clinical trials and pharmaceuticals.
