You need to have some experience as a Support Worker for this role and to hold an RQF Level 2 award or equivalent – we will support you with all additional the training you need. As a Senior Support Worker, you will lead shifts – overseeing the team and dealing with day-to-day challenges, supervise others and take on an additional area of responsibility such as coordination of training or health and safety. Most of our services need you to support people with personal care, in some this involves using moving and handling equipment and, in those services, you would need to be physically able to manage this type of work.
