Main duties of the job We are looking for a part-time (8 PA) Specialty Doctor in Neonatology working at the Royal Derby Hospital. This post will be based on the Neonatal Unit RDH and contribute to the Tier 2 rota Out of Hours covering Neonates. We are looking for a strong commitment from the appointee to the Department and involvement with education and research activities is expected. The successful applicant will be expected to work as part of a wider multidisciplinary team and will be required to contribute to the ongoing development of the Neonatal Service at University Hospital Derby and Burton. Applicants must have completed a minimum of four years full time post graduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time or flexible basis) of which at least two will be in a specialty training programme in a relevant specialty or as a fixed term specialty trainee in the relevant specialty; or shall have equivalent specialty clinical experience and competencies.
