Job summary An exciting opportunity to develop skills and experience in O&G. The post is not recognised for training but offers similar experience as the ST1 GP trainees, F1s and F2s who share the rota. There is also an active Quality Improvement Team and opportunities for participating in research. EWTD compliant 1:8 rota. The last post-holder took advantage of these opportunities and was successful in acquiring the part 1 MRCOG and in securing a training number in the Severn Deanery at the national interviews and they producedproject reports, delivered training and teaching to medical students and Foundation doctors and contributed to a national guidance at the RCOG. The contract for this post will be held by Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (GHNHSFT).
