Job summary Band 5 Staff Nurse (2 Positions) Location : Ward 6, Wexham Park Hospital Contract Type : Fixed Term - 2 Positions (12 months and 5 months) Ward Size : 36 Beds Speciality : Rheumatology (within Medical Directorate) We are seeking two dedicated and compassionate Band 5 Staff Nurses to join our well-established and friendly team on Ward 6 at Wexham Park Hospital . This is an excellent opportunity to work within a medical ward environment that specializes in rheumatology , while also contributing to the wider Medical Directorate , which includes specialities such as stroke, elderly care, gastroenterology, haematology, endocrinology, cardiology, and respiratory care. As a Band 5 Staff Nurse, you will: Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team of nurses, healthcare assistants, and care assistants. Be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of high-quality nursing care. Play a key role in delivering safe and effective patient care and supporting the recovery journey of individuals with a range of medical conditions. Main duties of the job To be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care with minimal supervision.
